One of the primary roadblocks BEO faces as we seek to develop and enhance our program is funding. It is now clear that if BEO is to progress and succeed as an organization, and if we are to continue to provide real solutions to the employment issue for the visually impaired, we must expand our funding base.

Presently, funding is received through three main sources: program sales for embroidered products and manufactured tape, military packaging and individual donations.

We believe strongly in our mission, because too many non-sighted and visually impaired individuals miss out on the opportunity of satisfying and rewarding employment.
